When your hot tub’s pH drifts low, the water turns corrosive. It eats at heaters, jets and spa surfaces, stings your eyes, and leaves skin dry and itchy after a soak. FROG® JumpH™ raises pH back into the ideal 7.2–7.6 range with a fast-dissolving granular formula made specifically for hot tubs and spas.

When to reach for it

Use JumpH after your total alkalinity is already in range. Alkalinity buffers pH, so if you try to correct pH first you will be re-adjusting it every week. Balance alkalinity with FROG® TArget™, then bring pH up with JumpH and it will hold.

How to use it

  1. Test your water and confirm total alkalinity is in range first.
  2. If pH reads below 7.2, check the chart on the bottle for your spa’s gallon capacity and measure that dose into the TruDose Cap.
  3. Add it with the jets running, circulate, then retest and adjust if needed.

Common questions

What is the difference between JumpH and DropH?
JumpH raises pH. DropH lowers both pH and total alkalinity. If your reading is below 7.2 you want JumpH; above 7.8, reach for DropH.

Will this raise my alkalinity too?
Sodium carbonate moves pH primarily, with some minor effect on alkalinity. That is why you set alkalinity first and fine-tune pH second.

Does it work with my sanitizer?
Yes. It is designed to be used alongside FROG @ease®, FROG Serene® and other spa sanitizing systems.
